Notice to Bidders
Sealed bids will be received by Bath Township at the Administration Building offices by the Service Director, until 10:00 am, local time, on Friday, August 22, 2025, and opened thereafter at the Bath Township Trustees Meeting Room, 3864 W. Bath Road, Akron, Ohio 44333. A recommended pre-bid meeting will be held on-site, 4400 Everett Rd., Akron, Ohio 44333, on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.
Project Consisting of: Renovation of the existing barn at the Bath Township’s North Fork Preserve, located at 4400 Everett Road.
The contract documents are available for download here (see updates to the original documents using the links below). The contract documents may also be reviewed for bidding purposes without charge during business hours at the office of the Bath Township Service Department.
A bid bond of 100% of the total bid, signed by a Surety Company authorized to do business in Ohio, must accompany each proposal. A cashier’s or certified check from a solvent bank in the amount of 10% of the total bid is also acceptable to meet bid bond requirement. Upon entering a contract, a Performance Bond of 100% will be required for the complete construction of the project.
A recommended pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. to answer any questions prospective bidders may have at the project site, 4400 Everett Rd., Akron, Ohio 44333. Bidders are encouraged to attend this meeting.
